Lady Hornets Shut Out At Towanda, 13-0.
 

The Wellsboro Varsity Softball team fell 13-0 in 5 innings to Towanda on Monday, April 29.

After a scoreless 1st inning, the Lady Knights added a run in the 2nd, then went on a tear the rest of the way, scoring 5 runs in the 3rd and 7 in the 4th.

The Lady Hornets accumulated three hits in the game, one each by senior Caralyn Warner and juniors Madelynn Losinger and Paige Logsdon.

Freshman Mazie Johnson threw a complete game, giving up 13 runs (1 earned) on 10 hits with 2 walks and a strikeout.

The loss drops Wellsboro to 3-9 (1-9 NTL Large School Division). The team hosts Towanda this afternoon.
