Wellsboro started their JV Softball season off by splitting a pair of games at home with Wyalusing on Monday, April 1.
Wyalusing won the first game 12-6. Sophomore Kieleigh Hoover had Wellsboro's only hit in the game.
Wellsboro won the second game 10-9 in a walk off in the bottom of the 5th. Sophomore LeAnna Fuentes went 2-for-2 with a double and RBI. Freshman Ella Boyce had the winning base hit to score sophomore Anna Tokarz.
Boyce, freshman Lauren Kosek, sophomore Harleigh Cleveland, freshman Mazie Johnson, and freshman Bailee Confer all had hits.
Wellsboro (1-1) is back in action at Canton on April 17.
