Athletic Department to hold recruiting seminar.

On Thursday, May 9, 2013, the Wellsboro Athletic Department will host a recruiting seminar by Mr. Bill Perkins from Bloomsburg from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the High School LGI. Mr. Perkins has been a football coach at Bloomsburg University for the past 20 years and currently teaches PE at Bloomsburg High School.
Mr. Perkins will cover topics such as eligibility requirements, finding the right school, the job of coaches, parents, and the athlete, odds of securing a scholarship, how to market yourself as an athlete, and much more. All athletes and their parents who are looking at playing sports in college should attend, and all Middle School athletes and parents are welcome.
