Notre Dame rolls past SVE.

SOUTHPORT, N.Y. - Notre Dame continued their strong start with a 10-0 win over SVE in IAC softball action Wednesday.

Notre Dame's Isabel Milazzo threw a no-hitter, striking out 12 while allowing three walks.

Maura Glovins went 3-for-4 with a run scored for the Crusaders while Mackenzie Mahajan was 2-for-3 with a double, 2-RBI and two runs scored.

Courteney Crater was 2-for-4 with a triple and 3-RBI, Mackenzie Maloney was 1-for-4 with a double and two runs while Ally Wichtowski was 1-for-4 with a run scored and 2-RBI.

Megan Niles scored twice while Jordyn Fargo and Chloe Stemerman also scored. Milazzo added an RBI.

Canton 3, Liberty 2

The Warriors scored two runs in the seventh to get the win.

Down 2-1 Hannah Gillian led off with a single. Joslyn Spencer bunted her over and the ball was thrown away putting runners on first and third with no outs.

Vanessa Wesneski had a bunt single loading the bases. Mackayla Wesneski had a fielder's choice to tie the game and the winning run scored on an error off the bat of Brooke Ward.

Ward had two hits, with a home run, and Hailey Wesneski, Lauryn Watkins, Evelyn Katona, Vanessa Wesneski and Gillian had hits.

Katona struck out five on the mound.

"Being first time, only been outside once, I told the girls it wasn't pretty, but they played good, solid defense, good solid pitching and at this point of the year, that's what it takes until everybody gets the bats going," Canton coach Lyle Wesneski said. "We had one error and we can work from there, we'll work on getting better at the plate and continue to improve."

Savanah Doney struck out nine for Liberty in the loss. Doney was also 3-for-3 with a double at the plate.

Brooke Harvey had an RBI and Carmen Bates had two hits and an RBI.

Lauren Smith had a double for Liberty.

LIberty hosts CV on Tuesday.

Athens 8, Williamson 6

Athens jumped out to a 5-1 lead after two innings and held on for the win.

Aubrey Allen had three hits, with a double and a triple, three RBI and a run scored in the win.

Haley Barry had a triple and two RBI for Athens and Emma Adams and Reagan Lynch each had hits. Adams scored a run and Lynch scored two runs.

Morgan Ferguson had a hit and scored a run and Mimi Martin, Taylor Jenney and Kendra Brown scored runs.

Emma Adams started on the mound for Athens.

Makayla Butz had two hits for Williamson and Kendra Colegrove and Bri Padget had doubles. Colegrove scored a run.

Emylee Yusko had a hit and scored three runs.

Kamryn Miller had a hit and scored a run and Ella Durst scored a run, while Lindsey Colegrove had a hit.

Durst started on the mound for Williamson

Wyalusing 17, CV 1, 5 innings

Kyleigh Ward threw a one-hitter, striking out 10 in five innings in the win.

Autumn Dietz had three hits, an RBI and a run scored for Wyalusing and Kristy Epler had two hits and two RBI.

Ward had a hit and scored a run and Sarah Bird had a hit, two runs scored, an RBI and two stolen bases.

Melody Kneller had a hit, two runs cored and an RBI and Trinity Kipp had a hit and scored a run.

Miranda Herbert had a hit and an RBI and Daphne Fassett had a hit, a run scored and an RBI.

Madelyn Valoroso had a hit and scored three runs.

Lacy Murray had CV's hit and Jenna Romaneo scored their run.

Julia Draper struck out three for CV.
