Wellsboro's Alyssa Yungwirth was unhittable on Monday night, throwing a no-hitter and striking out 13 in a 4-0 win over Wyalusing.

It's the first time in Jack Loomis' 15 years coaching the Rams that Wyalusing has been no-hit.

Sarah Ingerick had two hits with an RBI for Wellsboro, and Brianne Keane had two hits and scored a run.

Sydney Tremper had a hit and scored a run, and Alexa Singer had a hit and an RBI, while Yungwirth had a hit and scored two runs.

Kyleigh Ward struck out two on the mound for Wyalusing.

The Rams aren't in action again until Saturday when they play in a tournament at Tunkhannock.

Waverly 6, Notre Dame 5

WAVERLY, N.Y. -- The Waverly softball team bounced back from a loss to Notre Dame earlier this year with a 6-5 win over the Crusaders on Monday.

Waverly scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to rally for the win.

Down 5-3 in the seventh, Shailei Kraft and Kendra Ellers each walked, before Madison Klossner delivers a two-run double to tie the game.

With two outs, Taylor Nicholas drove in Klossner for the game-winning run.

Kraft had two hits, with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored, and Zoe Mennig had three hits.

Wendi Hammond had a hit and scored a run, and Kendra Ellers had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Madison Klossner had a double, an RBI and a run scored, and Lyndsey Moore had a double for Waverly, while Nicholas had a hit and the winning RBI.

Hammond struck out two and allowed nine hits and five runs, none earned, in the win.

Mackenzie Mahajan had two hits and two RBI for Notre Dame and Alivia Clark had a hit.

Izzy Milazzo had a hit and Morgan Cox had two hits and scored a run.

Jordyn Fargo scored a run and Courteney Crater had a hit and an RBI. Ally Witchtowski had a hit and scored two runs and Maura Glovins had a hit and scored a run.

Clark struck out 12 on the mound in 6 1/3 innings, and Milazzo struck out one in 1/3 of an inning on the mound.

Towanda 6, Troy 3

Towanda scored three runs in the sixth and three in the seventh to rally for the win.

"They scrapped to get the hits in the fifth and sixth innings," Towanda coach Stan Siberski said. "It was a big confidence builder for them. I think this will help us a lot going forward."

Casey Hawley struck out two in the win for Towanda.

Madi Doss had a hit and scored a run, and Cearra McLinko had a hit, a run and an RBI

Larisa Terry had a hit, a run and an RBI, and Rachael Bair had a double, a run scored and two RBI.

Hawley had two hits and Jayde Parsons had a hit.

Shayelynn Chandler had two hits, and Justine Vargason had a hit and scored a run, while Bella Bartholomew scored a run.

Vanessa Watson had a double and scored two runs for Troy, and Kerrigan Hoffmann had three hits, with a double and an RBI.

Erika Johnston had a hit and an RBI and Elena Breese had a double and scored a run. Madison Alexander had a hit and Nicole Spalding had an RBI.

Hoffmann struck out three for Troy.

Towanda is at Wellsboro today and hosts Wellsboro on Wednesday.

Canton 16, Williamson 9

Brooke Ward went 4-for-4 with a triple, four runs scored and three RBI, and Canton scored eight times in the first inning and 12 in the first two innings of the win.

Lauryn Watkins had three hits, with a double, three RBI and a run scored, and Evelyn Katona had a pair of hits, a run scored and three RBI.

Kelsey Griffin had two hits and scored a run and Lacey Castle had two hits and an RBI.

Alexa Roy had a hit, two runs scored and an RBI and Maggy Machmer had three hits, a double, an RBI and three runs scored.

Joselyn Spencer had a hit and scored a run and Caitlyn Pepper had two hits, a triple, three RBI and two runs scored in the win.

Kendra Colegrove had three hits, with a triple, a run scored and an RBI, and Hanna Fitzmartin had three hits, with a triple and a run scored for Williamson.

Sarah Bates had three hits and two RBI and Makayla Butz had a hit and scored a run.

Andrea Regalbuto had three hits, a double, two runs scored and an RBI, and Sam Herrington had three hits, three RBI and a run scored.

Emily Hackett had a hit and scored a run, and Emma Durst scored a run, while Kailee Schaefer had a double and two RBI.

Tioga 13, Candor 2

Every Tioga starter had a hit in the victory.

Mariah Culver threw a two-hitter, striking out nine in the win.

Katelyn Stubbs had two hits, with an RBI and two runs scored, and Brittany Vergason had two hits, with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored.

Sam Wood had three hits, an RBI and two runs scored, and Culver had two hits.

Sarah Hollenbeck had two hits and two RBI, and Sara Strong had two hits and scored two runs.

Megan Godfrey had two hits and scored a run, Taylor Ayres had three hits and scored a run and Morgan Babcock had a hit in the game.

Neumann 6, Sullivan County 0

Neumann scored two in the first and added three more in the fourth on their way to the win.

Quincy Fry had two hits for the Griffins, and Torie Shultz, Savannah Baldwin and Kassandra Houseknecht had hits for Sullivan in the game.

Fry and Chandra Thomas pitched, with Fry striking out one in three innings.
