NEB softball clinches division title.

2015 Northeast Bradford vs. Sayre SoftballSAYRE - The Northeast Bradford softball team wrapped up the NTL, Division II title on Monday with a 14-2 win over the Redskins.

Maddy Johnson had three hits, two RBI and scored two runs for the Panthers and Gabby Slater scored a run.

Annie Williams had three hits, with an RBI and she scored two runs and McKenna Wheaton had a hit and scored two runs.

Julia Williams had a hit, two RBI and a run scored and Danielle Moore had three hits, two runs scored and four RBI.

Katie Boardman had a hit and scored a run and Hannah Dum had two hits, with a double, two runs scored and an RBI.

Jaycee Brown scored a run for NEB.

Kassie Winters had a double and scored a run for Sayre and Kate Cron had a double and an RBI.

Paige Wampole had a hit and Kaitlyn Garrity had two hits, while Dominique Woodruff had a hit and an RBI.

Slater struck out six and walked one for NEB and Winters struck out two for Sayre.

Waverly 2, Edison 1

ELMIRA HEIGHTS - Sam Mennig had a dominant game on the mound, and at the plate, to lead the Wolverines to the win.

Mennig threw a four-hitter, striking out 11 and walking just two in the win.

At the plate Mennig had an RBI triple in the first inning and an RBI triple in the sixth.

Anna Smith had a hit for Waverly and Kalie Herriman scored both of Waverly's runs.

McKenzie Slaven threw a three-hitter allowing two unearned runs, walking none and striking out 10 for Edison in the loss.

Tioga 20, O-M 0

Sam Wood threw a perfect game on Monday, breaking the school record with her seventh career perfect game. The previous record was six held by Sarah Wayson from 2007-2011. It was the 10th no hitter of Wood's career.

Mariah Culver had three home runs in the win, breaking the single game school record of Holly Jones, who graduated in 2002.

Dani Barto had four hits, with a home run, a double, three RBI and four runs scored in the win.

Katelynn Stubbs had three hits, scored four runs and stole two bases and Wood had a hit and scored a run, with two RBI.

Culver had three home runs and six RBI in the game and Sarah Hollenbeck had two hits and scored a run.

Rachael Graham had a hit and scored a run and Paige Hendershot had three hits, a triple, two runs scored and an RBI.

Taylor Ayres had a hit, an RBI and scored two runs in the win.

Notre Dame 14, Watkins Glen 1

The Crusaders had 19 hits in the win on Monday.

Mackenzie Mahajan had two doubles, two RBI and scored three runs and Alivia Clark had four hits, with two doubles, a triple, three RBI and three runs scored.

Mackenzie Maloney had a double and scored two runs and Hannah Mahon had a hit and an RBI.

Brooke Harvey had three hits, with a double, and scored two runs and Izzy Milazzo had three hits, three RBI and a run scored.

Morgan Cox had a hit and an RBI and Ally Witchtowski had a hit and a run scored. Maura Glovins had two hits and scored a run and Meg Dunham scored a run.

Clark struck out four and allowed one hit in two scoreless innings and Milazzo struck out six in four innings.

Wellsboro 6, Towanda 0

Alexa Singer and Alyssa Yungwirth combined on a three-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts to lead the Green Hornets to the win.

Jenny Young had a hit for Wellsboro and Sarah Ingerick had a hit and scored a run.

Singer had a hit and scored a run and Paige Carr had a hit and scored a run.

Peyton Wilson and Jordan Butters each had hits and scored runs.

Towanda got hits from Justine Vargason, Casey Hawley and Larisa Terry.

Jayde Parsons struck out three for the Black Knights.

Troy 9, Liberty 1

Jerilyn Ross and Kerrigan Hoffman combined on a three-hitter in the win.

Vanessa Watson had three hits and three RBI for Troy and Faith Ceely had two hits.

Marissa Jarrell had a hit and two RBI and Taylor Johnston had a hit and an RBI.

Mariah Berguson had a hit and an RBI for Liberty and Lauren Smith and Emily Strange had hits.

Liberty hosts Towanda on Wednesday.

Williamson 3, CV 0

Emma Durst threw a three-hit shutout, striking out six in the win.

Sarah Bates, Sam Herington, Megan Wyble and Hannah Fitzmartin had hits for Williamson in the victory.

Maddy Hatch allowed four hits and struck out four for Williamson in the game.

Hatch, Kayla Schauer and Jessi Prutsman each had hits for Williamson.
