CV falls to Line Mountain.

Line Mountain scored six runs in the top of the seventh to rally past Cowanesque Valley 10-7 in District IV, Class A softball action Thursday.

CV jumped out to a 6-0 lead after the first two innings but slowly Line Mountain crawled back with three runs in the third and a run in the fifth.

The Indians added a run in the sixth to go up 7-4 before Line Mountain exploded in the seventh.

Julia Brubaker led the Indians with three hits while Lexi Huyler had two hits. Jessie Prutsman, Shanelle Ianson and Jessie Farman also had hits.

Ianson earned the loss.

Jayci London led the offensive attack for the No. 7 seed Eagles, pounding out four hits and driving in a run. Joelle Snyder, Kiana Lukoskie and Bre Boyer followed with three hits apiece, including a double by Snyder.
