Wellsboro edges Loyalsock in extras.

Tiana Lecker's hit knocked in Kailee Clymer in the eighth inning to give the lead to Wellsboro in their 8-7, extra-innings win over Loyalsock on Friday.

For Wellsboro, Ryann Adams had two hits and two RBI, Alyssa Yungwirth added one run, four hits, including two doubles, and one RBI, Sydney Tremper finished with one run, a double and a RBI, and Cathryn Brought tallied one run and two hits. Brianne Keane had one run, two hits and a RBI, Hailey Neal finished with one run and two hits, Clymer had two runs, including the game-winner, and two hits, Heidi Zuchowski added one hit and one RBI and Lecker had one run, one hit and one RBI.

Brought pitched for Wellsboro, striking out seven and allowing seven runs on five hits.

Cowanesque Valley 12, Bucktail 1

Hayley Murphy had three runs, two hits, including a double and two RBI to lead CV to their 12-1 win over Bucknell on Friday.

For CV, Emma McClaren had one run, one double and two RBI, Ashleigh Southard had two hits and one RBI, Karmen Short added one run, one double and two RBI, Amaya Walker and Jenna Romaneo each scored a run, Brynn Williams finished with two runs, one double and two RBI and Madison Lee had one run, two hits and two RBI.

Southard pitched a complete game, striking out three and allowing one run on six hits.
