NEB uses big 2nd inning to top Blue RidgeLERAYSVILLE — The Northeast Bradford softball team picked up a 13-3 win over Blue Ridge on Friday afternoon.

McKenna Wheaton was 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI for the Panthers and Danielle Moore had three hits, three RBI, two runs scored, a double and a triple.

Hannah Dum had a triple, two RBI and a run scored and Jaycee Brown had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored.

Annie Williams had a hit and an RBI and Dana Koontz had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Taya Howell and Gabby Slater each scored two runs for NEB and Megan Brown had an RBI, while Katie Boardman scored a run.

Williams pitched three perfect innings, striking out four for NEB, Howell pitched 1/3 of an inning with a strikeout and Brown struck out two in 1 2/3 innings.

Hunter Vaughn had a triple and two RBI for Blue Ridge, Brooke Marvin had a double and Taylor Bronson had a hit.

Notre Dame 15, Odessa-Montour 0

Alivia Clark and Isabel Milazzo combined on a perfect game for the Crusaders in the win on Friday.

Clark struck out six and Milazzo three in the win.

Clark had a home run and a double at the plate, driving in three and scoring two runs.

Mackenzie Maloney had three hits, two RBI, two triples, and three runs scored and Mackenzie Mahajan had three hits, with a double and a triple, and four runs scored.

Milazzo had three hits, two RBI and a run scored for the Crusaders.

Morgan Cox had a hit, a run scored and two RBI and Maura Glovins had two hits and a run scored.

Courteney Crater had a hit and scored a run and Ally Witchtowski had a hit.

Waverly 19, Newfield 0, 5 innings

The Wolverines got a perfect game from Wendi Hammond, who struck out 13 of the 15 batters she faced, in the win.

At the plate Shailei Kraft had a home runs and two doubles, with three RBI and four runs scored.

Hammond had two hits, with a triple, two RBI and three runs scored.

Kalie Herriman had two hits, with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored and Zoe Mennig had a triple, an RBI and two runs scored.

Kendra Ellers had a hit, an RBI and two runs scored and Karleigh VanNess had two hits and scored three runs.

Madison Klossner scored a run, Lyndsey Moore had a hit, an RBI and a run scored, Emily Goodwin had an RBI and Michealla Gallagher had a hit and scored a run.

Elk Lake 13, Sayre 1

Elk Lake scored three runs in both the first and second innings in the win.

Paige Wampole had two hits, with a double, and Kate Cron and Sydney Post each had doubles, with Post driving in a run.

Rory Tigue had a hit and scored a run for the Redskins.

Kaitlynn McCarter struck out two on the mound for Sayre.

Montrose 4, Wyalusing 1

The Rams got a fourth-inning solo home run from Erin Canfield in the loss.

Kyleigh Ward had a double and Sarah Bird and Autumn Dietz had hits in the loss.

Ward struck out four on the mound.

The Rams are at Wellsboro on Wednesday.

Montgomery 10, Sullivan County 3

Noelle Henniger, Mackenzie Doyle and Bethany Weinhardt each scored runs and Doyle also had an RBI, while Henniger turned a double play in the loss.

Quincy Fry and Savanah Baldwin pitched for the Griffins on the mound.
