NEB softball edges Towanda.

The Northeast Bradford softball team picked up a 2-1 victory over Towanda on Wednesday.

The Panthers scored two runs in the sixth inning on their way to the win.

Gabby Slater and Danielle Moore scored the Panthers' runs in the inning.

Katie Boardman had two hits, with a double, and an RBI and Megan Brown had a hit.

Moore and Annie Williams had hits and McKenna Wheaton had an RBI.

Madi Doss had a hit and an RBI for Towanda and Cearra McLinko and Rachael Bair had hits.

Casey Hawley had a hit and scored a run and Bella Bartholomew had a hit for the Black Knights.

Williams struck out five in a five-hitter for the win and Hawley struck out two in a five-hitter in the loss.

Canton 5, Liberty 3

CANTON — The Warriors scored three runs in the first inning and held on for the win over Liberty.

Brooke Ward had three hits, with a double, and scored two runs for Canton and Lauryn Watkins had two hits, with a double, two RBI and scored a run.

Sidney Wheeler had two hits and scored two runs and Kelsey Griffin had two hits and two RBI.

Maggy Machmer had a hit and an RBI and Lacey Castle had a hit.

Evelyn Katona struck out four and allowed two hits in 6 2/3 innings and Kelsey Griffin allowed a hit in 1/3 of an inning.

Kristina Buchanan and Savannah Doney struck out four for Liberty.

Lauren Smith had a double, an RBI and scored a run for Liberty and Jillian Berguson and Brooke Harvey had hits. Harvey had two RBI and Doney and Mariah Kshir scored runs.

Wyalusing 8, CV 4

Wyalusing scored seven runs in the second inning of the win.

Erin Canfield had two hits, with a home run, two RBI and she scored two runs and Kyleigh Ward had a 3-for-3 day with a double and an RBI.

Sarah Bird and Trinity Kipp each had a hit and scored a run and Kipp had an RBI.

Kristie Epler scored a run and Kate Epler had a stolen base and scored a run.

Ward struck out eight on the mound

Amaya Walker had a 3-for-3 day with a double, a triple and three RBI, along with a run scored, for CV and Kayla Schauer had two hits and scored a run.

Madi Lee had a double and scored two runs and Emma McClaren and Julia Draper had hits.

Wyalusing is at NEB on Friday.

Athens 11, Williamson 4

Down 4-2 in the fourth, Athens scored runs in the fifth and sixth to tie it then scored seven in the seventh to win.

Aubrey Allen had three hits, with two triples, three RBI and scored two runs and Emma Adams had three hits, with a double, three RBI and two runs scored.

Kaitlyn Testen had three hits and scored a run and Hayleigh Macik had three hits, three RBI and a run scored.

Hannah Reid had a hit and Leah Reid scored a run.

Angie Hudock had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Lexi Morley had a hit.

Reagan Lynch had three hits and scored a run and Kendra Brown scored two runs.

Lauren Galasso and Adams struck out five on the mound. Adams pitched 3 1/3 innings of perfect ball in relief.

Hanna Fitzmartin had a home run for Williamson and Sam Herrington had a double, an RBI and a run scored.

Andrea Regalbuto had a hit and scored a run and Emily Hackett had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Sarah Bates struck out five for Williamson in the game.

Shailei Kraft was 5-for-5 with a triple, two doubles, five RBI and six runs scored for Waverly in the win.

Wendi Hammond threw a one-hitter with nine strikeouts.

Zoe Mennig had three hits, four RBI and scored two runs, with a double, and Kendra Ellers had two hits, three RBI and she scored a run.

Kalie Herriman had a hit, an RBI and three runs scored and Hammond had a hit and scored two runs.

Karleigh VanNess scored a run and Lyndsey Moore and Madison Klossner each had a hit and scored two runs.

Izzy Milazzo threw a no-hitter with nine strikeouts for the Crusaders in the win.

Mackenzie Mahajan had three hits, with two RBI and three runs scored and Alivia Clark had a hit and scored two runs.

Mackenzie Maloney had two doubles, four RBI and three runs scored and Milazzo had two hits, with a double, two RBI and two runs scored.

Morgan Cox had three hits, with a double, three RBI and two runs scored and Jordyn Fargo scored a run.

Ally Witchtowski had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Courteney Crater had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored.

Chase Leonard had a hit, an RBI and two runs scored and Hannah Mahon had three hits and three RBI.

Megan Godfrey had a hit, a run scored and a stolen base and Steph Armstrong stole a base, while Morgan Babcock had a hit and scored a run.
