Savannah Doney threw a five-hit shutout to lead Liberty to a 3-0 win over Athens on Thursday.

Brooke Harvey had a hit and scored a run and Emily Strange had a hit and an RBI.

Britta Berguson had a hit and Doney and Lauren Smith scored runs.

Aubrey Allen threw a three-hitter for Athens in the loss.

Kaitlyn Testen had two hits and Aubrey Allen, Angie Hudock and Makaylah DeKay had hits.

Wellsboro 1, South Williamsport 0, 8 innings

Jenny Young led off the bottom of the eighth inning with a single and Sydney Tremper followed with an infield single.

After a fly out Darci Warriner hit a ground ball that went through the legs of South's second baseman, allowing the winning run to score.

Sarah Ingerick had two hits, with a double, for Wellsboro and Sydney Tremper had two hits.

Alyssa Yungwirth and Young had hits.

Yungwirth threw a two-hit shutout, striking out nine.

Wellsboro completes a suspended game against Coudersport today. The game picks up in the bottom of the second inning with Wellsboro up 1-0.

In the first game the Rams got four hits from Melody Kneller, with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI.

Trinity Kipp had a double and scored a run and Kristie Epler scored a run.

Katie Epler had three hits, with two doubles, and two runs scored and Erin Canfield scored a run.

Kyleigh Ward had a hit and scored a run and Sarah Bird had two hits, with a run scored, while Autumn Dietz had two hits and scored two runs.

Ward got the win on the mound, striking out one.

Troy got a hit and two runs scored from Nicole Spalding and Vanessa Watson and Kerrigan Hoffmann had two hits each.

Erika Johnston had a hit and scored a run and Elena Breese had a hit.

Roxanne Kingsley had two hits, with a double, and Caitlyn Hoffmann and Jessica Fritsch had hits, while Madison Alexander scored a run.

In the second game the Rams got three hits, with a double and a triple and three runs scored from Erin Canfield.

Katie Epler had two doubles and scored two runs and Kristie Epler had two hits.

Kneller had a hit and Bird had a hit and scored two runs.

Dietz had a hit and scored two runs and Ward had two hits and scored two runs.
