2015 Wyalusing vs. Athens SoftballATHENS - The Wyalusing Rams scored five first-inning runs and held on for a 5-3 win over Athens in NTL softball action on Thursday.

Kasey DeVoir had a three-run double and a run scored and Trinity Kipp had two hits and an RBI.

Ally DeVoir had a hit and scored a run and Kate Epler, Erin Canfield and Paighton Martin all scored runs in the game.

Kristie Epler had an RBI for Wyalusing.

Kyleigh Ward struck out three and allowed five hits on the mound for the Rams.

Jensen Dunkling had two hits, with a home run, an RBI and two runs scored for Athens. On the mound Dunkling struck out three in the game.

Aubrey Allen had two hits and scored a run and Lexi Morley had a hit, while Mackenzie Warner had an RBI.

Liberty 7, Williamson 2

A year after winning one game Liberty picked up their seventh win on Thursday to reach .500 on the season.

Abby Heatley and Mariah Berguson had triples in the game and Emily Strange had three hits.

Lauren Smith, Mackenzie Payne and Emma Koppenhaven had hits in the win.

Smith scored three times and Berguson scored twice, while Heatley and Strange each scored runs.

Jillian Berguson had a hit and an RBI for Liberty.

Mariah Berguson struck out five on the mound.

Sarah Bates had a triple for Williamson and Sam Herrington had two hits with a double.

Makayla Butz had a double and Andi Regalbuto had a hit.

Kendra Colegrove drove in a run and Regalbuto and Bates scored runs.

Emma Durst struck out seven in four innings and Bates struck out two.

Troy 8, Towanda 2

The Trojans got a two-run home run from Taylor Johnston in the victory on Thursday.

Johnston had two hits, with the home run and three RBI in the game.

Faith Ceely had two hits, with an RBI and three runs scored and Brooke Mattocks had a hit, an RBI and two runs scored.

Taylor Murray had a hit and an RBI and Vanessa Watson and Brooke Losey-Root had hits, while Kelsey Bristol scored two runs.

Kerrigan Hoffman struck out eight for the Trojans, allowing just three hits and one run.

Madi Doss had a hit and scored a run for Towanda and Justine Vargason had a hit and an RBI, while Mackenzie Roof had a hit and scored a run.

Jayde Parsons pitched for Towanda, allowing eight hits and striking out none.

Troy hosts Athens today.
