Wyalusing softball tops Athens.

Starting the suspended game in the bottom of the first inning down 3-0 the Wyalusing Rams wasted no time taking the lead.

The Rams scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning and that was all the scoring the rest of the way in a 4-3 Wyalusing win over Athens.

Kate Epler had two hits and a run for Wyalusing and Erin Canfield had a run and an RBI.

Kyleigh Ward and Ally DeVoir scored runs and Emily Faulkner had a hit and an RBI, while Paighton Martin had a hit for the Rams.

Jensen Dunkling had a three-run home run before the game was suspended on Saturday and she had two hits in the game. Reagan Lynch and Miranda Peterson had hits for Athens and Peterson and Mackenzie Hafer scored runs.

Faulkner struck out two, walked one and allowed four hits and three runs for the Rams and Dunkling struck out four, walked five and allowed four hits and four runs for Athens.

Wyalusing is at Troy today.

Notre Dame 16, Trumansburg 0

Alivia Clark threw a one-hitter, striking out seven for the Crusaders in the win.

At the plate Athens' Ali Raupers had a hit, an RBI and two runs for Notre Dame and Brooke Smith had a triple and scored three runs.

Mackenzie Mahajan had a hit and scored two runs and Morgan Cox had a hit and scored a run.

Clark and Mackenzie Maloney each scored three runs and Brooke Harvey scored two runs.
