2014 Troy vs. Wyalusing SoftballWYALUSING - The Troy Trojans got a home run from Taylor Johnston in a four-run first inning on their way to the win.

Johnston had two hits, with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs and Kayla Stephani, Faith Ceely and Kelsey Bristol all had two-hit days for Troy.

Ceely and Bristol scored two runs each and Stephani scored a run.

Taylor Murray, Brooke Mattocks and Kerrigan Hoffman had hits for the Trojans.

Hoffman threw a five-hit shutout, striking out seven for Troy.

Ally DeVoir was 3-for-3 for Wyalusing and Erin Canfield and Katie Epler added hits.

Emily Faulkner struck out one on the mound.

Wyalusing hosts CV on Wednesday.

Towanda 7, Liberty 0

WYSOX - The Black Knights scored all seven runs in the fourth inning of their victory on Monday.

Alaina Wickwire threw a two-hit shutout, striking out eight.

Koryn Wickwire had a hit, Alaina Wickwire had a hit, a run and two RBI and Mackenzie Roof had two hits and a run.

Sam Schoonover, Emily Gorman, Laciann Manning and Sam Peachey all had a hit and a run in the game.

Tara Welliver had a hit and an RBI and Casey Hawley had a hit, a run and an RBI.

Lauren Smith and Rachel Strange had hits for Liberty. Mariah Berguson struck out four for Liberty.

Wellsboro 8, Athens 3

Alexa Singer had a pair of home runs, driving in three runs and scoring three for Wellsboro on Monday.

Brooke Kohler had a hit and scored two runs and Maggie Smith scored a run.

Peyton Wilson had an RBI and a run scored, Jordan Butters had a double and an RBI and Paige Carr had an RBI.

Baylea Lehman had a triple and Darci Warriner scored a run for the Green Hornets.

Brooke Kohler struck out eight and allowed five hits and three runs, none earned, walking one.

Hannah Reid, Reagan Lynch, Mackenzie Hafer, Jensen Dunkling and Mackenzie Warner all had hits for Athens. Lynch, Miranda Peterson and Hafer scored runs and Hafer, Dunkling and Warner had RBI.

Dunkling struck out four and allowed five hits in the game.

CV 12, Canton 9

Julie Brubaker was 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored, with a double and Lexi Heyler was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI for CV in the win.

Courtney Schauer had two hits and scored three runs, Becky Plummer had a hit and Jessi Prutsman had a triple, an RBI and a run scored.

Shanelle Ianson had two hits, an RBI and a run scored, Tayler Hager had a hit, two RBI and a run scored and Whitney Earl had a double, two RBI and a run scored, while Madi Heyler scored a run.

Ianson struck out three on the mound.

Kellsy Ross had a home run for Canton, with two runs scored and an RBI and she struck out six on the mound.

Lacey Castle had two hits and scored two runs and Maggy Machmer had two hits, with a double, and two runs scored.

Makenzy Route was 3-for-5 with two doubles, four RBI and a run scored and Kelsey Griffin had two hits and an RBI.

Lauryn Watkins had two hits, an RBI and a run scored, Kayla Ward had a triple and an RBI and Joslyn Spencer had a hit and a run scored.

Cassie Johnson scored a run and Courtney Coleman had a double, two RBI and a run scored, while Danielle Moore and Williams each had doubles, with Moore scoring a run.
