2012 Wyalusing vs. Montgomery SoftballWYALUSING - The DeVoir sisters came up big for Wyalusing once again.

Kasey and Ally DeVoir both went 2-for-3 while Ally added 4-RBI to push the Rams past Montgomery 5-0 in District IV, Class A softball action Thursday.

"Kasey DeVoir was our sparkplug, she started both rallies," Wyalusing coach Jack Loomis said. "Ally DeVoir was clutch for us today. They did a great job playing in their first playoff game."

Also playing well was Emily Faulkner, who struck out four while allowing two walks and two hits.

"Faulkner did a great job on the mound for us," Loomis acknowledged.

In the first inning, Ally DeVoir doubled in Arielle Kneller and Laci Holdren to put the Rams up 2-0. Then in the third inning Ally DeVoir singled in two more runs, Kasey DeVoir and Kneller.

Holdren went 1-for-2 with a double while Kneller and Lauren Chadwick both went 1-for-3. Faulkner also added an RBI.

Now Wyalusing will face top seed and NTL rival Northeast Bradford next Tuesday at Elm Park, slated for a 5:30 p.m. start.

"We know were going to have our hands full," Loomis said. "We're going to go down there and give it everything we have. We've got a good young team and anything can happen in seven innings."
