NEB downs Canton, Waverly tops Dryden.

The Northeast Bradford Panthers got a triple and a home run from Kelsey Carlsen and Nicki Emick had a 3-for-3 day as they defeated Canton 10-4.

Carlsen had two RBI and scored three runs and Emick had a double, scored a run and had three RBI.

MaKaylah Holbert had two hits, with a triple and Calla Martin scored a run, while Haylie Phillips had a hit, two runs scored and an RBI.

Courtney Coleman had a hit and an RBI and Chelsie Souto scored a run, while Kelsey Goodwin had a hit.

Phillips struck out one and allowed five walks and two earned runs in 3 1/3 innings. Souto struck out five, walked one and allowed two earned runs in 3 2/3 innings on the mound.

Chelsey Heatley, Morgan Palmer and Kellsy Ross all had solo home runs for Canton in the game. Palmer and Ross each had two hits on the day.

Courtney Coyle had a hit and Macy McMurray had a hit and scored a run.

Heatley pitched, striking out three and allowing four earned runs, while walking none.

Weaverly 6, Dryden 4

The Wovlerines scored three in the fourth and two more in the fifth to pick up the victory on Tuesday.

Sabrina Bowman and Carmella Ruth each finished with two hits in the win.

Cassie Morey, Cassidy Farr, Kiana Manuel and Stephanie Bellis each had hits for Waverly.

Bellis pitched for Waverly, striking out five, walking three and allowing three earned runs.

Waverly hosts Watkins Glen at 1 p.m. today.
