6 Lady Hornets named to All-State softball team.

2016 Team Headlines
6 members of the Wellsboro Varsity Softball team were named to the PaHSSBCA (Pennsylvania High School Softball Association) All-State softball team on Tuesday, June 28.
Seniors Sarah Ingerick (shortstop) and Jenny Young (outfield) were both 1st team selections, sophomore Alyssa Yungwirth (pitcher) and senior Darci Warriner (outfield) were both 2nd team selections, and senior Alexa Singer (outfield) and sophomore Sydney Tremper (catcher) were honorable mentions.
Ingerick, Singer, Young, and Yungwirth have all earned multiple selections. Ingerick has been selected 4 times, Singer 3, and Young and Yungwirth both 2 each.
WellsboroAthletics.com would like to congratulate Sarah, Jenny, Alyssa, Darci, Alexa, and Sydney on their selections, and thank them for all their hard work and dedication during the year.
